After practising rope bondage for several years, Anna’s idea of wearable Shibari was born - tying together her passion for Shibari and design. Figure of A translates traditional rope patterns used for binding the body to clothes and accessories, where rope has both a functional and decorative purpose.

Edgy, architectural, feminine and body-aware, Figure of A pieces function equally well as part of your everyday styling as they do as part of a fetish-heavy ensemble. It is Anna’s hope that her product’s wearability and amenity with contemporary fashion will help lift Shibari from the underground, recontextualising the art form in the public imagination to the aesthetic, sensual and consensual practise it truly is. 

All pieces are handmade from top quality leather and custom made ropes.

Store your Figure of A items folded or hung up on a hanger in a dark dry place. Don't squash to avoid deformation.

Items made with waxed cotton rope cannot be fully washed, but can be cleaned professionally/dry cleaned. Minor stains can be wiped off with baby wipes.

Items made from polyester rope can be hand washed or dry cleaned.

PLEASE check the product description for specific care instructions.

Fill a bucket with warm water.

If required, stir in a small drop of mild, non-alkaline detergent or baby shampoo. Place your item in the bucket and gently swirl for a minute or two, taking care not to scrub at it or leave it in for too long. Rub it gently with a cloth.

Rinse the item carefully to remove any suds. Dab the rope dry from excess water, and dry the metal parts as much as possible. 

Air dry lying flat on a towel away from direct sunlight.

Do not wring it out, tumble dry it or iron it, as such treatment will damage the rope.

Make sure it's completely dry before storing.

What are the shipping options? All items are shipped worldwide with Royal Mail UK or a faster courier service, all options are available at checkout.

What are the international taxes, duties, etc. that I have to pay? There are new taxation regulations after Brexit depending on your country. (USA no tax under $800)

When will I receive my order? After 3 days of processing time and your chosen service of delivery. If you have a deadline, please let us know and we will confirm if we can make it in time!

What do I do if I never received my order? All orders are tracked, with a tracking number provided, you can check upon the status yourself with the link provided.

What do I do if I received a defective order? All items are quality controlled but if there is a problem please email us.

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed? Please email us and we change it for you.

Where are you located? In London, United Kingdom.

How is the product made? Where do the materials come from? All products are handmade in our London studio. Materials come mostly from UK, European Union, some parts are from Asia.
How do I make sure I order the right size? All size options are displayed in the product description. If you're uncertain, please send us your measurements and we make it to your size.

How are the items packaged? All orders are wrapped in tissue paper, packed into a black labelled card box with attached care instructions and business card. If you add the luxury box to your order, you receive our items in a black solid embossed luxury card box which is intricately tied in a Shibari pattern.

What if the items supposed to be a gift? All orders are ready to be presented as a gift, in either packagings. There are no prices attached.
